Does the SAT eliminate the take off lag so many on this forum have mentioned? In other words, if a new 535i/550i was ordered with SAT, is the Sprint Booster still recommended for a faster start?

All drive-by-wire BMWs have the throttle lag including your on order 535i.

Does anyone have insight into why this is? The SB seems to be a simple inexpensive modification that is highly reviewed by those who have installed it. Why does BMW not include it or somehow give the ability to switch it on or off through iDrive? All of the reviews seem to say it is the best money spent on the car.
