Sat radio replace WB?

I noticed after I had my Sat radio installed, there is no longer the option of the weaher band (W
. Am I to assume that the Sat radio replaces that spot on the option list? Or is it a software issue?

Don't know the specifics of your install and what the dealier might have done, but my car has WB and Sirius.

My Ride: 2005 530i Titanium Grey, Premium, Sport, Xenon, Active Steering and suspension, heated seats, etc., Sirius, etc.
I have been wondering the same thing, except mine did not show WB as an option, even before I got the Sirius installed. This is the first BMW I have ever owned without a WB radio, and I have had a bunch of them. My car came with no nav but with an option for Sat. Radio Prep. I had the dealer add it before I brought it home. But, no WB...I miss that.

My Ride: Arrived 3 June 2005: 2005 545i - Orient Blue, Black interior, Sport, Steptronic, Cold Weather, NAV, Sirius, Logic7, Comfort Seats, Sunshades. What a glorious ride!
My e60 has factory-installed Sirius, and it has WB radio too. Perhaps the aftermarket Sirius takes up the weather band, while factory-install does not?

I have factory installed SAT harness with dealer SAT, 2005 build of Sep 04 and do NOT have WB. Never did. Dealer said it was no longer an option. ??
