Negotiate ... call and ask for the cancellation department ... you should be able to haggle a renewal for less than $100/ year.

Good to know thanks, but im horrible at haggling, my girl does it better lol I only by it if I really want it and looking at it I only use 2 stations so it might now be worth it to renew anyway
But I wasn't going to fork over $150/year or whatever the subscription programs were running a few months ago. My first call was easy --- they dropped the price about $20. Then I read a post here about the cancellation department and it was very easy ... no need to play hard ball. I called and said, "I like sat radio but only listen to a couple of stations and can't justify spending more than $100 a year for that convenience - is there anything you can offer me to keep me as a customer?" With that I got a 12 month renewal for $77/year. Give it a shot! Most they can say is "no"! ... they can't hit you because you're too far away :help: |

I'm in the same boat as you and understand how you feel about haggling ... I listen to 4-5 sat radio stations (esp news etc) and enjoy the static-free reception.
