Sat Nav update??

Hey gang.
I have a 2004 530i.
It has a Sat/nav system that only has the arrows(no maps).
Its now 5 years old and a bit useless in Sydney.
Is it possible to burn a copy from a newer model e60?Will it work okay?
My friend has a 2006 M5, would his disc be compatible for my car?

No you have the same nav as me, you need the bussines nav disc 2009.1
Business Nav? You should need the Professional Version. Try the m5 professional disc your buddy has.
If you need the professional version, his will work (which I am almost positive you have btw)

Navteq.com says the 2004+ is Professional?

Pro nav which you know about, US bmws only had pro nav, an interesting point is that from 2007 business nav has a 2d map display, my dealer wanted ?3k just for parts to upgrade mine to pro
