Last night car gave us overheated warning. I waited for it to cool down and then drove to gas station to see if coolant was low but it was fine. It was just in for service so I was hoping they did not put enough fluid in after the flush. Unfortunately, I believe the thermostat is stuck. She's going in today for warranty repair.

The only troublesome thing is that the SOS did not work. I was in an area with good service and it could not connect. It seem to just freeze up and would not let me do anything with I drive after 5 minutes of waiting. I'll have them look into that as well.

What year is your car? On the earlier cars, like my 2004, you got the BMW Assist free for the first year but then had to renew after that. It was the 2005 or 2006 (can't recall!) model year that they gave BMW Assist for four years. If you have an earlier car and did not renew, the SOS function will not work either...

Water pump went out and being replaced under warranty. Kind of bad to have it go out so early(45K) but at least it was still under warranty.

Also complained of squealing brakes and had brakes replaced under warranty.
