I'm having bimmer withdrawal. Turned-in my 2008 535i today so it can be shipped back to the U.S. After driving the German autobahns with my E60 for the past 5 months, I'm really depressed about losing my "freedom" as we head back to the restrictions of stateside driving. While many of the Autobahns in Germany ARE speed restricted (around 85%), anyone who has ever experienced the thrill of driving in Europe knows that even with speed controls, the driving is just more "spirited" here be it on local, state, or country roads. Man, am I going to miss it. Guess I better buy a v1!

I'm sure you will miss the company of other European automobiles!
After spending the time on that side of the pond the the worse part of returning to driving in the good old USA are roads that are clogged up with drivers whose supply of discipline and courtesy is woefully lacking
