Well, try to contact your local BMWCCA chapter members to make sure that your car will be fixed by the best local BMW body shop, with the best cars, with proper equipment.

Stories like this goes to show you how important it is to be a defensive driver. We always need to be on the look out for bad drivers. I think BMW should put their engineers to work and create some "stupid car intercepting missiles".

By the way, how does the Dinan suspension run on the 530i?

Throw the guy a Benjamin and tell him to claim it totaled.

Indeed.

After such a hit the car will never be the same.

What a shame that stupidity has taken your car from you, happily the occupants are okay!! On the plus side however, I do get to see your girls in your avatar once again!! (where have you been recently?? ) I hope it all comes together quickly and with as little added aggravation to you as is possible!!

Well after driving my e60 for over 4 years and never been involved in an accident till Saturday. Here's the story I was hit by a young female driver who was going the wrong way down a one way street and blew thru an intersection at speeds of at least 60+mph. SHe nailed the back passenger tire and spun me around in circles.
She was cited with 3 tickets and now i wait to hear the outcome of the repairs......

sorry to hear this, hope everything goes well.
