just came back from Patrick bmw, the adjuster seems to think they will fix this car no problem 10-15k in repairs, car valued at 30k. we are dealing with American Family Insurance...Not sure what is going to happen now....

The low end of 10k is completely ridiculous. You can hardly get anything done for 10k these days. I had a Mercedes that got smashed into while it was parked and it looked nowhere near as bad as yours and the bill came to 10k. The OEM parts and labor prices are obscene and get jacked up when they know it's an insurance claim. I think that adjuster was way off. Also, if that's your 2004 e60 then 30k is way off for a valuation.

ya not sure what will come of this, think they rated teh value higher due to the DINAN parts on the car...DINAN suspension and so fourth....I will keep all updated as this claim happens....Still refuse to pull the m5 out of the garage....scared to drive now....
I'm surprised the adjuster would take after-market parts into consideration in valuation.
