I think your friend is making a mistake by going with the F430. He'll only be able to roll around with 1 hot chick in the Ferrari, but wiith the M5 he'll be able to roll with 3 hot chicks!!
Yeah, three fat chicks. Or maybe like 6 supermodels. E60's have a big back seat.

And I guess performance might be one reason, but I think the main reason is the price difference between the two that gets alotta people jumping ship. The same reason people "like the 997 but would rather have the 430," even though it gives the same or better peformance, according to Edmunds. Part of owning a Ferrari is, yeah, the performance, but also being part of an exclusive club. If it was 100k, it wouldn't exclusive at all. That's the difference between a 'vette and a 430. The price. The main difference atleast, the deciding factor for most people. I think the brand and exclusivity go hand in hand with the price as well.

When you by a Ferrari you are buying 60 years of racing history. One of the most known companys in the world(if not the most Known). If you have a child that has seen the movie CARS even they know what a Ferrari is. (LOL. my daughter's favorite movie.) Both are great cars but if i had to choose FERRARI F355 F1 for me.

ALSO MASERATI Q has the same engine as the 430
