I just noticed today that there is rust on the metal part of the keyhole on the drivers door. I did a quick search and came up empty. Is there an easy fix, or does this deserve an appt w/ the dr? I tried wiping it off, but nothing quick worked.

Also, on the detailing front, I glazed (3M hand glaze) some areas of the paint that needed attention, but could not complete the waxing due to bad weather. Is it important to wax over tha glaze?

I noticed rust on a brand new LCI 530d demo car at a local dealer (less than 5k on the clock). I also noticed this on a fairly new (57 plate) M5 as well. Are the keyhole area made of rubbish metal that rusts? Pretty poor by BMW's standards IMHO. Anyone else got any info?
