I notice that there is an option on my Idrive to select day running lights. However it does not seem to have any effect on the lights when the ignition is on. Anyone know if this option should work on UK cars?

My Ride: 535d M-Sport '06 Plate - Carbon Black - Black Leather - Pro Sat Nav - Logic 7 - HUD - Bluetooth - Privacy Glass - 172M 19" Alloys - Heated Seats - PDC - Adaptive Headlights - Extended Voice Control - Paintshield Extended - M5 Boot Finisher - Bright White LED Internal Lighting - Dension Gateway 500 Ipod/USB/Aux Integration
You need to have the lights on 'Auto'. This way the DRL's will be on once you turn the car on.
