With less than a week to go til I take delivery, what are the recommendations that BMW state for an LCi 525 diesel?

For the first 2000km: max rpm 3500 and do not exceed 150km/h

I couldn't. Was exceeding 150 km/h during the first week but only for very short periods.

very the rpm all over the map. dont do constant rpm [eg do not use cuise control]. use the gear box to very speed/rpms.

Still I say, a nicely braked in engine is the best way - in the long run.

It was the 3,500 rpm that killed me! Gave me an excuse to get some meetings in the diary at the other end of the Country to get the 1,200 miles over with as quickly as possible!

Looking forward to seeing some pics of your new car when you get it...
