I haven't gotten any negative comments on my splash guards (yet). And on White they are noticeable. I find that they make the car appear to sit a little lower. But functionally it keeps the car cleaner, longer. (The ones I had on my Audi sat a little lower. If they didn't rub the road twice on the off-ramp to my house, I knew I wasn't going fast enough ).
