Thumbs up

How long does it take for the RPA to initialise?
I adjusted all the tyre pressures today and tried to initialise the RPA monitor but it hung with STATUS: initialising.
The idrive states ignition on and or engine running. I left it for an hour with the ignition 'ON' but no luck. Then looking in the handbook it gives a different process saying to drive the car a short distance.
I tried both methods to no avail. Any ideas or is it another trip to the dealer?
cheers!

I guess you shouldn't be worried. I wondered the same thing but after a while a status said active. I think the system just needs lots of information "from the wheels" to ensure the right spinning speed of each tyre. It has to take every curve and turn you make out of calculations. I guess

edit: So just drive on for a day and check the status later again...
