Yesterday I checked my TP and they had been badly set by the (non BMW) dealer I just bought it from.
Anyway, I did the reset but when I took it for a drive for it to become active my AirCon would not work, manual or auto. Now it was a particularly hot day in the UK yesterday which may or may not have had some bearing on it. After about 10-15 mins it just came on.
However I was just interested to know if this or any other item may be inactive whilst the RPA is resetting?
Thanks
Alan

Then the tires were too far deflated and they used air from the aircon to stay usable. After filling and resetting the pressure indicators, it takes some time to re-calibrate. and after that the airco has enough air to work again.
My complete airco control unit went into sleep mode while on the road. pushed various buttons in various combinations and it started up again. never had it since. Guess it's just one of those things.
