Anyone use this brand oil in their e60.....particularly in a 550?

I've never used it.

But some of the oil forums out there say its one of the best oil's on the market. Actually any of there lubrication products are top notch.

I personally use Royal Pink, for a slightly less abrassive lube job.

I've used it in my other cars....and have had good luck with it.

I always changed it every 5k miles....but Royal Purple says to go 12k miles or once a year.....just change the filter and top off every 5k

Never used Royal Purple in my E60, but it has worked well in my trucks.

If my engine say BMW oil only, then that's what I should use.

I live near the BMW oil-fields in Bavaria where they make their oil. Quite a sight to behold. I have some pics I took at the very beginning of April around here somewhere.
