I had my AC on for the first time yesterday, and after about a half hour of hiway driving, I noticed a rough idle when I stopped at the light.
The car was vibrating, much like the feeeling you get when driving over an old metal bridge. I called the dealer and he said with no engine check light
going on "he had nver heard of such a thing".Any thoughts?

Did the car loose power/feel like the bottom dropped out to of the engine?
Did the car stall/ attempt to stall at stop light/sign?
Are you having "long cranks" at start up? It should turn over with little to no hesitation when the start button is pushed... if it has to crank a bit be for turning over, take it to the dealer and have them check the High Pressure Fuel pump,Low pressure Fuel pump, and all of the injectors....If they have to replace any of the injectors, and the car is under warranty insist they replace all of them since you will be back shortly with the same problems.

I don't know about Canada but in the USA there is a 120,000 mile /10 year warranty ext. on the HPFP's ( 08-09 MY N54's but 10's should be covered too since the motor has not changed).

What the hell? It's not like BMW is denying against the problem, they're fixing it and extended the warranty! What would this benefit? Oh right... the lawyers.
