I have a Genie garage door/opener with rolling code. Anyone know if the programmable door opener in the car can be used? I did try and follow the instructions in the manual but was not able to program it.

The manual says "alternating code tranmitters" - does this cover rolling code too??

It's a bit tricky but you can get it to work with your Genie rolling code.

You not only need to follow the BMW directions for programming the transmitter, but you also have to follow the Genie directions on programming the receiver.

Here's a link to some basic information on programming the Genie:

Rudy has it. You gotta dig out your instructions for your GDO. It took me a few times but I finally got the hang of programming my GDO and UGDO in the car.

Rudy

I have a 1983 Kenmore washing machine. I need to replace a belt on it, but I lost the owners manual and schematics.

Can you please post ASAP. Lots of dirty close piling up.

All I can say is wow! You seem to have the right info for every question.

its a bit tricky ...

hold the button on the mirror till its ready to accept programming, press the garage opener till the LED on the mirror shows that as accepted - then go to your garage motor, and press the little programming button within 30 seconds.

that should do it.... it took em a few times, especially since i just replaced the garage head motor & had to reprogram it on all 5 cars ... :-(

There has to be more to this than just Google.

Any info on tomorrow's winning lottery numbers?
