Hey,

What do you think about these rims on a 2006 Sapphire Black (otherwise stock) 530Xi...
also, not even sure if they would fit properly....can't find any info....are these M3 rims? (maybe these are sale by someone on this forum locally in NJ...!...in which case your vote is nullified :) )

Thumbs up or Thumbs down? 17" rims.....

The short answer - yes, those are M3 rims and the fitment is tricky to say the least (M3 is HIGH offset - +40-+46, and the E60 is medium offset - +15-+ 20) so it may not fit even with spacers. The other problem - WHY CHROME? Check around on Craigslist and here in the classifieds, you will find better looking OEM rims with the correct offset to fit your car.

he's got an Xi, so those offsets might be more in his range.

agreed on the chrome though, and the original versions of those wheels are 18s, not 17s.

+1 - you have a nice elegant and classy car - keep it that way.

Heye PJINCA...I just noticed the "Critics" quote you have in your signature. Can't believe it. I've carried a copy of this quote by Theodore Roosevelt in my wallet (it's migrated through 3 wallets) since 1991 when I received it as part of a summer mailing package from the fb program I played for. I actually just pulled out that (and two others I have) and reread (and taped them to prevent them from disintegrating!)...Here's to class....cheers

+1 - everywhere I have lived I have taken the print in calligraphy that I have of that quote with me. Teddy was a fascinating man and I enjoy pretty much all his quotes. Thanks for noticing.

+1. I also admire TR. I've got a painting of him by Mort Kunstler in my office entitled "The Great White Fleet Sails". It's one of my favorites.
