I know bruce has 6.1 cables that make these happen .. just wondering if I were to take out the three brake light bulbs on each side and use NCS Expert to rid the error codes would it work? Could be a quick fix for people who already have the bruces cables; I already have the LCI retrofit done so removing the bulbs is probably the only way to go I'm guessing, I have a huge subwoofer in my trunk don't want to go take out the box and my theory doesnt work ... ALso would it pass inspection in the future if I left it without the bulbs or would I have to put the bulbs back in? Thanks

Good question, do the lights on the far right(lights that are the brake lights with the mod) come on with the brake on stock LCI?

No they don't. The rear fogs have no "true" function for US cars.

So the mod only works with eu tail lights? .. I think you could code the tail light fogs with NCS Expert

My V6.1 works with any car, both US and EU.

Also the circle bulb is the BFD in the US and Fog in the EU.

Also just removing the bulbs won't do anything even if you disable the bulb warning. You need to move the Brake light function to the Circle light. I have physically moved the Brake light to the circle, you would have to find a Brake function for the Fog in NCS if you want to do this without rewiring.

I will put a write up tonight or this weekend on how to do it. I did mine and it works great!
Less risk of fire for me if I use heat sink.
