reverse lights not working!?

My Ride: 2003 BMW 530i M sport

Hi all my reverse lights are not working

tried changing the blubs but no good anyone know what it could be

??

If you changed the bulbs and checked the plugs then it could be several things. If you are not getting and errror on the iDrive too then it could be that your LCM and/or programming has gone a bit off.

is your car a manual transmission? if so, there's a switch on the transmission that tells the car the transmission is in reverse, and thus turns on the lights. it's not expensive. if putting your old LCM back in doesn't fix the problem (if you haven't coded it and the car it came from had whatever transmission you don't, it may well be the LCM's fault) then I would check the switch as well.
