reverse lights
#1
Greetings,
I had my car upgraded to ver. 18 last week, and I had the side led problem, which took the dealer 1 day to fix it
Now I just noticed that my reverse lights (both) are not working!
Is it related to the latest software upgrade ?
Any Ideas what should be done to the car ?

The strange thing is that there is no fault messages in the I-drive.
I just came back from the dealer and as usual the have no idea, the only thing they told is that light pulps are not covered by the warranty !!!
Ps. My dealer ?Al-Naghi Motors? (Saudi Arabia) is probably the worst BMW dealer in the world term of service. I would just thank God for this great forum.

I just got my car out from the dealer...
They had to change the light pulps, cost me $30.
Still I cant understand why it did not appear in the I-Drive !!
I think that it is a very important safety issue, just imagine that you are going on reverse and the car the coming behind you have no idea that you are driving in reverse !!
So go and make sure from time to time that the reverse lights are working...
Did anybody have fault message for the reverse lights or break lights?? (two major safety related signals)
