Default Retrofit standard to sport seats?

I have standard full electric seats in my 2005 E61, and have now bought full electric sport seats.
But i have a bit trouble to understand the wiring.
Is there a good write up/DIY for this retrofit?

Thanks

They should be PnP. I had comfort seats without a winter package in my 08' E61. I swapped in heated M5 seats and purchased the heated seat buttons. Plugged everything in and it all worked without any wiring or coding needed. The only thing I would need to code if I cared enough for would be the active seat function but I have more important things on my list.

Nice

I think it was pnp since you had the comfort seats.
Since I only have the standards it needs some wiring.
There is some different in the yellow connector.

From the car:

I didn't have sport seats. I had the plain, bottom of the barrel seats which I was under the impression were called comfort seats. My apologies if that's the wrong description for them.
Funny, my car had all the wiring in place. I guess I was lucky!

I'll see if I have any pics of my connectors for you to reference. If not I'll take some.
Have you tried plugging them in to see if they work?

Maybe its some different because you have an 08 LCI, mine is an 05 pre.
Yes, tried plugging them, but nothing worked

Your probably right about that, bummer.
Do you want me to take pictures of the seat connections for you?

No thanks , I do not think you need it.
I just needs to find out where to connect the red/green, black and brown wire

comfort seats are not bottom of the barrel seats. They are the most expensive type of seats. they come standard on 07+ e60s with sport packages.

Thanks for clarifying. So what is the sport seat? Is that term used in exchange for Comfort seat or are there 4 types of seats?
Standard
Sport
Comfort
M5 Active

Standard
Sport
Comfort
M5 Active
No problem!
Actullyt there are a bit more!
I think:
Standard
Sport
Comfort
Comfort active
M5 sport active
M5 comfort active
(Maybe M5 sport/comfort without active, not sure)

Sport seats from 07 and onward are not available in the US but Euro models have them for sure.
