I think you are missing the focus of the original query....I have a 2006 530I, I know there is a retrofit kit for 2005 and earlier. I was told by the dealer that the 2006 model could not be retrofitted with the nav system. I just wanted confirmation and if so the reason why. I would figure everything could be retrofited, the only reason you might not would be because it might be cost prohibitive....am I right?
