I have been having the Restraint Systems Malfunction error everytime I start the car or when somebody sits in the front passenger seat. I used INPA to check the codes and just kept getting 93C3 errors which indicates an error with the OC3 (seat occupancy sensor) matt.
Meanwhile, using INPA, I also noticed I was getting a 2EF5 error which is a Thermostat heater control circuit high.
Anyway, I went to the dealer armed with the code for the thermostat and SI B 65 75 06 for the sensor matt. The dealer fixed them both within a day for free under CPO!
New sensor matt was replaced as well as a new thermostat.
Thanks to INPA I was able to find a potential problem with the thermostat before my car started to overheat! Additionally, I'm lucky these were fixed before my CPO runs out this January.
