Finally had my snows mounted today Dunlop M3 3D 245/40/18 x4 as per tirerack on the oem staggered 124's.
Anyway, half way to work the Flat tire monitor goes on; Can someone post the sequence to reset it.
No time to go back for them to do it.
BTW... ride/handling is nice and don't look half bad.
Thanks.

Assuming the tire place properly installed the sensors, go into iDrive by pressing the knob down. Scroll down and you'll see something like Tires/Vehicle. In there is the TPMS system. With the car started but in Park, hit the Reset option then drive. It will take a few minutes to reset. Probably best to do it someplace where you can get on a long stretch of open road like the interstate. Stop and go city traffic will take longer to reset.

Thanks, I got it. With the car started and in Park. I pressed the idrive and then went to 'vehicle settings', then found 'FTM' (flat tire monitor); and reset it from there. Actually it was pretty easy.

I had a similar issue. Last weekend in advance of our first snow, I put my four original equipment 124's with the std 18" bridgestone re050 runflats on and removed my 166's with the 19" ps2's. Well I finally drove the car on Thursday when the temp was like 10 degrees and instantly as i drove away from my house, the TPM went off on all four tires. I realized that these tires have been sitting since spring and I never filled them with air. And when its cold out you have a hard time finding a working air pump at a gas station. Went to 3 places before I found a working one. When i restarted the car, the TPM was on and all four tires appeared green, so it seems to reset itself. My tires were down to 24 lbs so I don't think I did too much damage since they are runflats.
