Recently I changed the Microfilter on my '04 525i, but the Car still keeps prompting for Change the Microfilter as the computer needs that service counter to be reset. Does anyone knows how to reset the counter for Microfilter service?
Thanks in advance.

If you know how to reset the oil and other service indicators, then you should be able to reset the microfilter service counter as well. Turn key, do not start, reset trip meter, turn off key, turn on key again (do not start car), hold down trip meter reset button, wait for menu, cycle using trip reset button.

for newer models with fob/start button, a slight variation of above, except you don't step on brake or clutch depending on your transmission type.
