Hi all,

my CCC died and I replaced it.
My 530i came equipped with Sat Nav and voice control from the factory.
I have my navigation working but there is no speech anymore at all and I no longer have voice commands. I've heard numerous people speak about needing an FSC code but if I already had these options why should we have to pay for this if the feature was already equipped and not retrofitted. Is this also the reason why there is no voice from the navigation?

Please help I'm completely lost guys

 

Can you hear music? Might be because the replacement CCC was not programmed for the same sound system (HiFi vs Hifi Professional).

 

When I got it it didn't play music as I have Logic 7 but the car it came from didn't. I since had it coded and now I can play music and all but no voice

 

I cant play music on mine.... Can either one of you guys help me out please.

I have the same problem, replaced my CCC headunit and lost my voice commands, I used to be able to answer phone calls pressing the voice command button, not any more, were you able to fix this on your car?

 

Never got it fixed..
I no longer have the door chimes or seatbelt chimes or any audible warnings
