Congrats!

What parts were unavailable?

I was told BMW service was going to replace the SMG Transmission Control Computer, Transmission Control Computer, and the Engine Management Control Computer. These parts were 2-3 months out.

Congrats! Much nicer colour IMO. I had a simular colour on my old Touareg, looks good and it's not as hard as black to maintain...

Congratulations! I agree nice color. Where is Valley BMW? Is is in So. Cal or did your dealer have to trade for it? Looks good and I see you wasted no time putting on the rear reflectors. The only downside is having to break in the motor again.

Hahahha NICE!!!! What color combo is his MINI? S or Regular? He should join the MINI group for runs... unless he does already and maybe I've ran into him before!

congrats

I would have replaced with another 545i just like you, if they offer to buy my car back. As you may remember, I had my transmission replaced at 1,600 miles. No issues so far at 2,200, but I am taking it back to dealer tomorrow for software issues. My radio and Idrive come on by itself and drains the battery. I smell a new 545i or possibly 550i coming up soon if they don't fix my problems.

The garage is actually my fater-in-laws. Funny thing, the motercycle is the only thing that fits in the garage. It is acutally a 3-car garge which the M3 sits outside. Needless to say, his wife isn't happy. He is a pack rat.

I was gradually cleaning put my garage to be sure the 6er would get proper treatment (as opposed to my wifes A4 Cabrio always garaged) and working to a 1 March delivery when my SA called on 24 Feb and asked if I would like to get it now I said of course and gave him 4 extra hours to get it ready so I could finish the garage cleaning post haste. Even put my wife to work on it as well. The 6er slid right in, simply amazing Now all I have to do is remind my wife why we do not want to "collect' more junk.
