Is replacing the front bearings on my 545 with 93k miles a reasonable DIY job, or one for a mechanic?

Wheel bearings?

Pretty straight forward. Could get messy since you will be handling bearing grease.

Any special tools required? I was looking at them the other day when I changed my rotors and pads and getting them off/out didn't seem straighforward to me. Any instructions out there?
