Can someone post how to remove the plastic screen that covers the instrument cluster (speedometer, etc.)? I noticed a mark behind mine that I'd like to wipe. Not sure how it got there...

You need a bigger hammer.

Not sure, what mark you do have there, but if it's not broken, don't try to fix it. I know this from foto lenses. A small dust particle is no harm, but opening the lens to clean it will do much much more harm than initially.

Don't open the can of worms if possible... My opinion...

Does this remove the instrument cluster screen, or does it remove the instrument cluster (more than I want)?

Good question. Now that I think about it, I'm betting the entire cluster is sealed so you may not be able to accomplish what you want.

You could try to remove it enough to see if you can remove the plastic lens from the entire cluster or you can complain to the dealer and see if they'll pop a new one in...
