Default Remote wire for amp in boot for BMW E60

Hi,

I am looking to set up an amp install for my 2003 BMW E60 520i.

I can't seem to find a fuse I can use that turns off when the car turns off.

Could I have some help on the right fuse or an alternative place for the remote?
I've attached pictures.

Can you not use a line out converter?

The cigarette lighters turn on/off with ignition if I remember correctly. Not quite in the right place but that's at least an option. Check it out

The ones on the rear of the center console (for the rear seats) are easy to get to. The whole panel that they are on pulls out from the bottom

What radio do you have now?

Is there already an amp located in the left fender area in the trunk?

Check the green/white wire shown in the pic. That should be the cigarette lighter circuit, high amperage and ignition key controlled. It's the safest easiest ignition signal to grab on your car. It also should have it's fuse in that fuse box if you trace it down or check the number on the chart.

Doesn't have an amp. Bass all works but have to unplug remote wire every time.

Checked for ignition/cigarette lighter symbol on fuse list but can't find it.

I don't have rear cigarette lighter

You might use a meter on these rear fuses with the car off and on:
F61 - 20A - front cigar lighter
F80 - 30A - amplifier (maybe this is switched here?)
F82 - 20A - rear cigar lighter

These are correct for E60 cars up to 9/2005.

Get your meter out and see how these react with the car on/off and the radio mute/unmute.
