Hi all,

I have a problem with my remote locking. I can remotely unlock my car doors but not Lock them, i have tried both keys. The boot release opens as should and the car locks Ok with the key. I have a 530d E60 2005 with keyless ignition. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem with mine but only with the rear locks. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the actuators. It had no problem for a few days but it came back. I tried the other key and is now working again, but i am sure the problem will come back again. I think this is more of a software/i drive problem than a hardware issue.

I have a similar issue with my boot. I can't open it anymore remotely with the key so I have to use the old manual way putting the key in directly on the boot. Also, I get a message saying "boot open" evert time I drive away. This is very annoying

I took apart the trunk and noticed that the cable to the locking mechanism was damaged so I tried to fix it but it didn't help.
