This site is an excellent source of information, but...I just ordered my e60 (530xi) and I keep reading posts about all of the problems. I am starting to get worried. Does anyone have an e60 without electrical problems?

I do....except for the rarely anti-trap error.

Other than that it's a jewel of a car. 5000km coverd
I sure hope it stays this way...without any problems.
Don't worry...i used to be scared also after i ordered my car...seein so many problems posted here. But do remember that the owners that don't have problems are way more than those with problems. Unless u have a particular badluck wich is not probably, u don't have to worry about it!

Deep green/beige - what can I say - I loved the 1990's. Only option is the premium pkg. I wanted Nav, but just to be cool, I would never use it and after reading posts on this forum I decided the less electrical extras the better.

It's only natural that you see and hear all the problems. Many/most of us (including me) have had no problems and we will continue to enjoy in silence.

bear in mind that e60 owners DO look to this site to provide answers for their problems. (and problems dealers can't solve)

so the problem is not with the car per se - but with the bad dealerships
