Actually not like yours, Euro spec means silver and clear for the front turn signal (while US spec have amber corner) and for the rear I prefer the brake light area red while the turn signal part clear.
right I thort you mean the rear lights.

Interesting subject. When I took pics of the car, after it's first good detailing, the first comment I received was that I needed the rear reflectors. I don't have them but I have seen a few around the city that have them and they're nice, especially at night. Haven't made the jump though.. will wait and see. I'm torn on it, don't dislike it but don't love it.

The best part is they are so cheap to buy ($25), and so easy to change, that you could go with them one day, and without the next!

What's the deal with so many people recommending the red rear reflectors? I have a black car and personally like it without. Maybe it's personal preference, but I was just curious. I see a lot of members recommending them to newbies. Just curious...
True, now it looks much better as the insert is flush with the body and painted to match and is the least noticable on a black car, but very noticable on a light colored car.
Personal preference, but to me it still looks like a patch (two symetrical cutouts with cover plates) and the red reflectors look like they are supposed to be there. And, in the first couple years of production, it was cool to have them as most did not.
BMW should have made a US bumper cover without the cutouts.

Once I noticed the colored cutouts it just bothered me because it looks like an after thought patch that did not belong on the car. I put in the reflectors just to see (pick them up at any bmw dealer for about $22) and it just looked like the space was now used as designed. That being said I am sure that somewhere in Germany there is someone that thought the exact opposite and could not wait to replace their reflectors with body colored inserts. As always, to each his own.
