Well noticed during my track day that the outer edges of the front tires were getting worn, even starting towards the sidewall past the tread. I had higher than normal tire pressures for the track day, around 37 for the front but feel that if I lower the pressure, it will get worse as the tire starts to roll. The interior edge is almost untouched. Even gets slightly past the tread in street spirited driving.

Does anyone know what the target range for a Alignment is, such as the recommend angles for camber, etc. and the range that BMW considers acceptable. I think that my front has positive camber, and want more negative camber. I just want to be able to stay in the recommended target range but towards negative camber side when I get an alignment.

Rudy, is there a TIS on the suspension settings ranges??

Thanks

In the interest of keeping this thread on topic (for easier searching later), the following link points to post in another thread that contains technical information about wheel alignment, etc.:

I dont have the alignment range you are asking for but.... These are my alignment values before and after, 545 w/Sport, very bad INSIDE tire edge wear (opposite of your tire wear)...
Read as: left, right before to: left, right after
Front camber: -.5 deg (l) -.5 deg ? to: -.2 deg (l) -.2 deg ?
Front toe: +1/16 in (l) +5/32 in ? to: +1/16 in (l) +1/16 in ?
Rear camber: -1.7 deg (l) -1.9 deg? to: -1.2 deg (l) -1.2 deg ?
Rear toe: -1/32 in (l) +1/16 in ? to: +3/32 in (l) +3/32 in ?

After 2000 miles, the tires are wearing very evenly- this is way better than before the alignment
