Good stuff, silver grey is the colour...

Mine is 530d (i hear you guys dont get them over in the US, thats a shame, it has sooo much torque, more than 545i) fully loaded with black leather.

I thought the 530D was less powerful than 545i? But look who is talking the person who own a lazy 525.

Congrats on the car.

Not too familiar with the amps though as I'm barely getting into home audio. I have been into car audio for a bit and have some nice zapco amps though.

Um... Dr. Z makes some kick butt guitar amps that use tubes for tone and power. Not the integrated circuit, mosfet amps found in most home audio and, I dare say all, auto amplification. There is something to be said for having to wait for your guitar amp to warm up, before it belches out some wonderful tone!

Dr. Z, welcome to our ever expanding family...
You will love your E60!

And who knows... maybe one day I'll be lucky enough to plug my SG into one of your creations... (instead of the meager Fender combo amp I use now)

Congrats on your new 545i. My next car (after warranty expires at 50K) will be 545i fully loaded. I already get pre-approved by my co-financial officer (wife) . So far, my 530i is adaquate with only myself in it. With my wife (105lbs) and my infant (15lbs+car seat + milk), reduce the car performance significantly because of insufficient torque.

Thanks for the kind words Joe, glad you dig my amps.

It's been almost non-stop drivin, I can't get enough, will be at 1200 miles soon, can't wait to open
it up and see what it can do.

I'll need to wash it before pic's, between brake dust and construction dust at my shop, doesn't look as good as it did in the showroom.

It hasn't taken long at adapt to the size , coming from my 330Ci.

As a sound expert, what do you think of the Logic 7 system - any EQ recommendations? How about featuring your 545 in one of your advertisements - I think I've seen your 330 in one?

That was my question, being a sound expert, I didn't see premium sound in your list of options. Do you have it, if not, why not?

Well guys no I didn't, I did listen to it and it sounded great.
Any system that gives you control of MID frequencies will inhance guitar based rock tones.
Rock guitars bandwidth is quite limited between 400 Hz and 2200 Hz , with severe roll off on either side. Boosting those frequencies makes the recording come alive, more so then any treble / bass only style system, which can sound kind of flat.

Lower and higher frequencies can be enhanced for classical music , with a slight scooped mid, sounds very dynamic.

The Logic 7 allows you to taylor the tones with it's graphic EQ, and it's concert hall simulations give a nice 3 D stereo image.

As for me, I listen and play live music all day, it's like asking a mailman to go for a walk, I really enjoy the break and a bit of silence ( besides the sound of the 4.4 liter ) is very nice.

I haven't had a chance to photo my car yet.
I recieved a call from Joe Walsh late last night at home.
Joe needed a new amp for the Eagles Japanese tour, so I worked all night , play tested it over the phone to him today and will ship it tomorrow, I need some sleep.
