My original cupholders worked fine (March '04 build). The drives side spring popped and the holder got all F'd up. I had the dealer replace it under warranty. What a cluster f*&k the new one was. It couldn't hold anything except for a full coffee otherwise it would try to send the drink out the sunroof. My car is now in for service and another cupholder. Hopefully this one will be better.
I couldn't understand what the problem everyone was having until I got the replacement. Now I know all too well.
BTW, the 525 loaner I have has fully functioning cupholders.
I'll have to check to see if it'll play MP3's as it doesn't have Nav.

Had my cup holders replaced under warranty in November with the same cup holders as Art and no problems since.

Those are the 2 different part numbers that were installed in my car to make the old cupholders work. These numbers are on my service work order.
I didnt watch the installation so I don't know exactly the size and shape of the parts.
I assume that the old cupholders had thier own different part number.

... I started getting that icon also, after V15. I only get the icon when I activate bluetooth on my Treo 650, so I naturally assumed it indicated that my phone was ready and operational. When I turn off my phone, the icon disappears.
Do you have a BT phone?

they hold my large Mickey D or NK Diet cokes with much more precision than the other ones.. before, it would kind of wobble around, now it goes down farther and is more stable.
As for the 16.2, I think the biggest and only concern for everyone should be the fact that the radio stays off now when you left it that way on your last drive. all the other stuff is trivial, imo.

[/quote]I don't have Bluetooth. At first I thought that the icon was to tell me I have messages. But it seems only to indicate that the phone is connected.
Anybody with better info than that. please comment.
