Hi. No I bought from the car auction so that means basically as is. I jist bought the new lights withe the black plug. I need someone with the same lights to tell me which color wire goes into which number on the black plug that attaches to the tail light housing! Any help would be great!
I'm not sure which auction you bought it from, I bought my car from an auction as well and selling a car with defective or non working tail lights is considered a safety issue and they have to fix it (yes, even the auction houses) I think it's something to do with some kind of California State Law. I would definitely check with them first. (It would help if you list your location)
Of-course you can fix it yourself since you have already bought the lights. Sorry I don't have LCI so can't help you with the wiring.

Must be some California state law. Im in New York. I bought it from the auction in Pennsylvania. Since this auction is for dealers only, what you see is what you get basically especially if its sold as a Red light car its as is. If you bought as a green light car that it cant have Title issues like frame damage or engine transmission issues. Anyway I know thats not a route to go through. But thanks for your input.

One big consolation of buying from the auction is that you have already saved a ton of money so it's OK to spend a little (as you anticipated).
Since you have already bought the right lights, and have an appointment with the dealer, it should not cost much for them to fit it in and hopefully they will make the right harness/connectors for any future plug-n-play.

Enjoy the ride.
