Rear msport bumper
Hi all, Ive recently had a towbar fitted to my e60 msport saloon. They had to cut the bumper to fit the towbar which i wasnt happy about but i was told this was the only way. Now i have just bought the piece from bmw what theyv'e cut that has a cover so when not using towbar it will look like it doesn,t have a towbar
I was looking for a bit of advice to fit/remove it do i have to take all the bumper off? Is it a straightforward job?

BMW actually makes a tow hitch piece for the M Sport rear... theres no need to cut. You swap between the tow hitch door piece or the solid piece...

The piece in the bag has the hole for the tow hitch... and theres a trap door for it... when not using the tow hitch you just cover the hole with the trap door.
