Rear glass rubber wearing out

My Ride: 530i BMW

I replaced my rear window seal last week. It was easy. Took about 20 minutes to replace. My seal looked like CWest image.

LOL, my rear window seal looks waaaaaaaay worse than Cwest's one.

I did mine not too long ago and took ~20minutes or so. Very happy with the result.

Jack - use a little bit of soap water for the top corner edges. It makes it easier to install.

I'll try my best to take good DIY photo while doing it and taking photo at the same time.

If you don't mind, can you post the parts number also. Planning to order it along with other things but I'm not sure which one, especially for $ 43 for both front and back windshield. I remember there was a DIY thread on this topic with related part numbers but can't find it anymore.

Actually I get discount at my dealership that's why it cost me $43 total, try Tischer BMW or NEWPORT BMW (Garry) and you'll prob get the same price I get.

That explains why i paid $58.30 for mine today.. It was $54.30, but they didn;t have it on stock so do get it by tomorrow i had to pay an $4 extra..

Will do mine tomorrow, if i get the new rubber and put some pictures once i'm done. This is my first DIY ever hopefully geos well :-)
