Default rear electric sun blind retro fit

I just completed a full alcantara interior swap from a m5 to my 530 can e out marvelous, also installed the roller blind now my question is how to get it to operate like in the e60. I have purchased the e39 roller blade monster switch but I would like the factory look if I purchase 61316951919 is all the wiring already in the harness front and rear, what does the blind motor connect to in the rear there is a connector under the rear cushion but not sure if that is a prewire for the roller blade , also what are the correct specs for leveling the glass roof front and rear.

I made this DIY not to long ago. https://5series.net/forums/diy-do-yo...re-lci-134401/
Your car won't be pre wired for one if it didn't come from the factory with one. Also you won't be able to use the E39 switch.

Cool I will look at your post, why would I not be able to use the switch I mean I got it to go up and down with the switch just by wiring it up before I put the parcel shelf in I just did not want to run the wires up front if I did not have to and also the darn switch is friggin huge. Thanks for the reply and I'm off to read your diy

Seems simple enough, so pin 7 and 8 run over to the window switch in some way, also my seat heater DTC control is different from yours so wiring is the same ? I brought my interior from Canada and none of the electronics ie air bag sensor light glass break sensor was all different that is why I questioned

Did you buy LCI interior? If not the SZM should be the same. You can't use the e39 switch because, if you read the DIY, its controlled differently. The switch isn't directly wired to the sunblind. Shouldn't matter if the BMW is from Canada or not. My car is Canadian and it has the same interior as any North American Pre-LCI e60. Just buy the E60 sunblind switch. There is no extra wiring for the switch. Just the 2 wires for the sunblind.

No the interior was from a 2004 m5 and if you look at real OEM they have separate part numbers for Canadian cars for some modules. And I know that the switch from the e39 can't be integrated into the console I'm thinking of putting it in the rear arm rest for the time being, currently got a project 93 vw corrado I'm breathing life back into. Do you have ventilated seats? If not what are the other buttons for on your szm .

Ya, as for pre-lci they are all like that. Just more or less buttons depending on what options you have. Won't make a difference when wiring the sunblind though.

Was the swap expensive or hard to do minus the sun blind?.... How much for the set? Any pics?

I do have some I will post and take a couple more and post them , it was kinda hard when it came to the parcel shelf and the roof part was really hard because the old one came out pretty easy but we kept putting the new one in backwards and had to remove it like 4 times to get it turned the correct way. The guy wanted 1700 for it I got the full set looks brand new for 900 plus 300 to ship so 1200 kinda expensive but wow it makes the car look awesome inside
