Do you guys think it's worth getting the OEM rear door side airbags for 350 bucks (invoice) ?

I do! To me it is just like buying insurance. You hope you don't need it but happy when it is there to help out.

The decision to get rear side airbags may depend on whether you have small children or not. A quick internet search shows debate on their safety for kids. The airbags are designed to protect adult sized bodies and may injure a small child especially if they lean against the doors. If you have kids restrained in car seats or older children they are probably safe.

Welcome Price9195! You are correct. I have two small ones in child seats and even in a few years when they outgrow them, I would still probably not have the side airbags activated, therefore I did not order my car with them. If you don't have the issue with children, I'd say they are worth the price. Like most insurance policies, you never hope to need them, but when you do, you're glad you have them.

I agree with prior post regarding rear air bags and children. We did not get rear bags since our children are 16 months and 4 years. The bags are not designed for children.

I got them and I have kids ages 9 and 14. I think they are great know people who swear that they are alive today from an accident with side air bags that saved him.

For young kids who might end up lieing down with a head near a door, it would be a problem in an accident.

Same for me. Sometimes I think I should have ordered them because for the peace of mind, they really don't cost that much.
