Default Is this a real OEM M5 Bumper, looking for expert advise.

Hey guys, I am looking for an OEM M5 bumper and stumbled upon this:

BMW 5 Series M5 E60 Front Bumper 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 | eBay

The Part Number listed is 51-17-89-60-24 which is proper format and length for OEM products but doesn't come up when browsing RealOEM and other stores, any insight?

Thanks,
Evan

If it doesn't come up when you check in Realoem so that make it an aftermarket part . If I where you I wouldn't gamble on buying it .

I say yes it's OEM. There are not many aftermarket tools out there making these bumpers in China and they do not have the part# ai level, material etc on them in a way where it's embossed from the tooling. My only concern would be why is someone selling a used OEM M5 bumper? Did they replace it with a standard one, or a MTech? I doubt it. More than likely it was damaged and replaced during an insurance claim and now they have managed to repair it, and sell it. But the other likely reason is that the seller deals in used parts and the M5 was crashed and not damaging the bumper. Could be several reasons and the details are seriously lacking. Better you ask a lot of questions before you buy.

Meh, or the owner could have a non-M5 and just replaced it with M5 bumper. Got rid of the car and is looking to sell the bumper?

Do you have a M5? Because if this is OEM and you have a non-M E60 there will need to be a lot of adjustments needed to make it fit.

I DO have an M5, ...an E39 M5!

My E61 is a 535xi but I am doing a full M5 front end conversion, I have everything lined up or in-transit except the Driver-Side Fender and the Front Bumper Carrier.
