Nothing like getting to know a new babe. Have a great day with your great car, Ultra. That is a striking looking machine.

Ultra, looks nice!

Resist the temptation to open it up on the Autobahn until after break-in!!

That was very difficult. I kept getting to 156km before I knew it and had to slow back down.

Unbelievable performance

Congratz U P. I'm also in the military but always stationed in CONUS. Have fun on the road and drive safely. Good choice of color

I normally am not the chrome kinda guy but your wheels are definately beautiful under a black car.... is that an aftermarket job???

For the same reason that I had the original 18" style 124s chromed - my exterior is black. Any other color I'll leave them alone. Its a dealer option.

Thanks to all for the wonderful comments. What a great bunch of people we have gathered here on the E60 Information Network.

Well we have logged over 1200 k in 3 days and now understand what all the fuss is about. What a fantastic car! And it?s quite the head turner too. It almost makes me uncomfortable all the people straining their necks to get a look. ALMOST!

It?s a pain trying to hold it back on the Autobahn (break-in) especially with all those yummy E class?s out there. This thing wants to GO and 100 mph is nothing! The ?Avoid Highways? option in the NAV is a life saver!

To answer a few questions ? Our car is a standard US Spec 545i with the orange side lights up front and the black plugs in the rear bumper. US Spec?s will allow us to bring the car back to the States someday. Hopefully we will have it for a long, long time.

Thanks again to everyone for all your comments!
