RDS DISPLAY

My Ride: 525d Automatic Silver grey with beige dakota leather, Blue tooth, extended lights xenon head lights, park distance, 138 wheels,extended aircon, service inclusive
Could any body out there help.
I own a 525D which I purchased new in May this year. Whilst RDS works by displaying the radio station on the front page of the idrive (bottom left corner) it does not dsplay on the stored radio channel page. I only get a series of frequencies. Can anybody help.
PS The car is great.

the rds is a pain, its great that yours work, but mine... i have 3 radio stations that display the same name, useless

My iDrive initially didn't show the radio station tags. I thought RDS was't working. Then I noticed it took a few minutes for the station names to show up. So I tuned to each station I wanted to store, waited for stn names to show up and then stored.

andy, get the latest software updates. RDS displays OK on all my different idrive radio screens. in the later s/w versions it is also much easier to enable/disable RDS.

Northern, you are the first one with Pro Nav that says that he has the latest software with the RDS working. I had RDS with 11.3 now I was just updated to 13.2.2 and I have lost them and there is NOT a menu item to enable them. You are in the UK though so maybe somthing is different then here in the US.

I've got Business Nav....as in my signature
I think any version higher than some 12.x release should mean RDS is fine, seems odd yours is not working. when you went to 13.x did you get the new "fonts" etc in i-dirve, by that i mean your sure they updated it?
when you are listening to a station, normally the word "Set" is highlighted in i-drive, if you press down on the controller a sub-menu appears with words like "TP, Scan, Save" in it. After my v13.x update i also now see "RDS" in that list. i assume you do not see that?
