Rdc caught on fire lmao
What’s next? How should I take on this challenge the right way fellas let’s be real I would highly apreciate it. I really want to do the replacement myself. Car runs fine it’s a rebuilt both engine and transmission 171000 miles on it. Lights started to come out on cluster boot lid , aux, trunk button, battery key remote is completely not working key in that fob is opening the car and the alarm does go on and off meaning it locks. But yea RDC is still connected wires are as well on the far right of the housing/harness you can see that three wires are completely off on the module. What should I do besides buying a new or used module.
Ya I know
What do you think
Oh yea it’s been in water too months ago but brought it back to life dried it up really
Help
All bad
How do you read these numbers
what numbers do I match if I am buying a new one or a used one. Appreciate it
also is it bad that this thing is still attached while I continue driving I wrap each wire with electrical tape but not all the way to the other end. Let me know thanks fellas

Find a junkyard that allows you to pick your own parts. That is, you pay a couple dollars to enter the junkyard and then you can wander around and take off whatever parts you want and pay on your way out. You'll need your own tools. LKQ junkyards allow this. Go there and get an RDC of the same model number and cut off the wiring harness and connector with plenty of wire to spare. Solder the new harness to the old one past where there are burned up insulation. Best to use solder and heat shrink tubing. It's inside the car, so regular heat shrink is fine over the soldered connections. If you desire waterproof connections, use dual-wall adhesive heat shrink tubing.
