My Ride: 2004 525i, Metalic Gray, Premium Package
I bought this 2004 525i used at 37K miles. Everything is fine except there is noise coming from passgenger side window when the car is moving. This is particularly obvious when accelarating or decelarting, or making turns at lower speed.
After trying to find what caused it, I found out the noise will be gone if the window glass is rolled down just slightly. It seems the pressure of the window glass forcing upward to the window track.
I don't like to keep the window glass not fully closed and in contact with its track.
Any thoughts to correct the problem?
Thanks.

Sounds like a door/window seal problem. if I recall there was a service bulletin regarding this problem, cannot recall which build years it pertained to. You could also try running a search on this problem, I had a similar rattle niose coming from the rear (mine from the parcel shelf), but when researching that problem I found a number of threads regarding door/window seals and rattling. Finally, another memeber pointed out applying Vazline to top of the door seal. I did just that. Worked perfect. Try it!
