rainsensor doesn't work properly after V17

My Ride: [i][b][u]Since 19 august 2004[/u][/b][/i]: [color=red][b]530i[/b] High Executive[/color], Silvergray with beige interior, Popular wood, Servotronic, Sportssuspension, electric foldable and dimmed mirrors, dimmed interior mirror, pappelmaser braun wood, cupholders, styling 123 18" wheels, Logic 7, Steptronic, alarm class 3, electric sunscreen in the rear and suncreens for sidewindows, Comfort seats, heated seats, Xenon with headlightwashers, Adaptive corner lights ALC, Advanced airconditioning, lightpackage, Nav Pro, 6 cd changer, side airbags rearseats, bluetooth siemens S55, chrome kidneys, gearlever with wood, voice recognition retrofit, front windshield with green band.

Since my car is updated to V17 I've been having problems with the windshieldwipers.. Everytime it rains and I push the stalk for autowiping the rainsensor doesn't detect that it's raining. Even when I let the whole windshield blur up it still doesn't wipe. Then I push the stalk down for a single wipe and the rainsensor starts thinking whoooopsss I missed something and starts wiping like an idiot (the fastest setting).. This also happens when no rain is falling on the windshield (for example in a tunnel).
So I look like an idiot driving around with the fast wiping wipers or I am constantly pushing the stalk down because I see nothing.. Anybody else experience this??? Also the three settings for sensitivity do nothing.. In the past with my previous V15 I notice a difference between the three settings..
Btw.. I have the same problem with the auto headlights too.. They come on way too late when entering a tunnel.. Yesterday I drove behind another E60 and when he entered a tunnel his lights were on instantly while I had to wait another 200 meters for the car to detect its dark.. at that time I already left the tunnel. So they went on when I didn't need it anymore..
What's up with V17?? I never had these problems and now I do.

Dennis, now that you mention it, I noticed a few weeks ago the same thing with my wipers. I remember it was drizzling and that I had auto wipe on...but had to use the stalk (down) manually to wipe the water away...

I have the CIP 17.0 but i rarely rains in here so i did not notice that

I had 17.01 installed last week, but we're out of the rainy season here, so it could be a while before I'll be able to tell if I have an issue or not
