Ok, I am out of town at the moment defending our country and I have a new issue with my radio system. Heres the deal,

NORMALLY: When I start the car the entertainment system is always in the setting that it was left in when the car was turned off. Meaning, if I was listening to the AUX / iPod when I turn the car off and back on I am still in the AUX mode and iPod starts to play.

CURRENT SITUATION: When I push the start stop button to turn car off and I am listening to the AUX /iPod, now after actuating the button once, the AUX iPod turns off and the radio begins to play. The secon push all is off. When I restart the car, the radios ALWAYS comes on, regardless of what was previously playing or set to. This just started a few hours ago and it's never done this before that I know of. I can't seem to find anything like this in the manual as to maybe a setting or something.

Have you tried using another key? Comfort access or no. And also, production date of the car. These will help. Would be worth it to have your battery checked if your car is over 3+ years

I thought the same thing about the key and yes I have the confort access. The only thing that was out of normal was when I left the house today and just started backing out of the driveway i believe my leg must have leaned against the door and then with the key in my pocket I noticed the doors locked and I had only rolled back maybe five feet. Thought that was a bit quick, as it normally takes a little longer being that its in the autolock mode. I assume I must have sqeezed the key somehow and locked the car. Not sure if this had anything to do with it.

Try sticking the key manually into the ignition. That should have it re-read the memory in the keys. Hopefully this works.
